Our Goal:
At Salty Ponies, our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable recreational opportunity for children with a variety of disabilities. We aim to provide children with an opportunity for social interaction, physical exercise, and emotional development, all while learning riding skills. This goal is accomplished through the strength and forgiving nature of the horse, through the dedication of our volunteers, and through the creativity of our instructors.
· Riding lessons offer children a fun recreational opportunity.
· Riding can improve balance, coordination, muscle tone as well as self esteem, concentration, listening skills, and so much more.
· Our program incorporates games and social activities into a lesson that teaches riding skills.
· We ride outdoors so riders can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while benefiting from physical exercise.
Why choose Salty Ponies for your child’s riding lessons?

-All of our volunteers go through our volunteer training process where they learn important safety procedures, mounting and dismounting, as well as tips on interacting with our riders and our horses.
-Our horses are screened and trained to ensure they are as reliable as horses can be. Plus, they love their jobs! Come meet our ponies and their personalities will win you over immediately.
