Each week of summer camp will be 4 days long, 3 1/2 hours per day. Cost for a week of camp is $200 per child.
All camps include riding (weather permitting) as well as hands on barn activities and horse care. They are appropriate for all riding levels. No experience is required, yet still fun if you already ride.
Each week of camp will have different activities and things to learn, so attend all 4 for a whole summer of fun!

August 9-12: Vaulting
Our week long camps will not be built around a single theme, except for vaulting camp. Check out our Pictures to see some of the things we did last summer.
Which theme is right for you?
Vaulting is gymnastics on horseback. We start off slowly learning the basics on our vaulting barrel, and then move up to doing limited movements on the real horse. Kids love this one!
Vaulting camp will Sunday, Sept. 27, from 1 pm until 4 pm.
In our "Horse Lovers" camp kids will learn all about our furry friends. They will learn and practice the basics in riding and horse care while getting to know our horses up close.
We will not have our Horse Lovers camp this fall.
Gymkhana Games are a traditional activity in America. In our games camp kids will learn about barrel racing, pole bending and more, both on their feet and on a horse. This camp is lots of fun for riders of all levels!
Gymkhana Games camp will be Sunday, Sept. 13th, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
In our trail riding camp kids will learn how to manuver their horses through obstacles commonly found while trail riding. Obstacles include things like crossing bridges, guiding through tight spaces, and putting on a rain coat while on your horse.
Trail Riding camp will be Saturday, Sept. 26th, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Jousting is Maryland's official state sport. We give kids an introduction to this historically important game in a fun way. At the end of the camp kids will be able to put their skills to the test on our jousting course.
Jousting camp will be Sunday, Sept. 20th, from 1:00 until 4:00 pm.
